Safety in the salon
When we choose a beauty salon, what becomes important is not only the result, but also the feeling of calm and trust. Clients’ trust is our priority, which is why we adhere to the highest standards of hygiene and safety so that you can feel comfortable and protected during every procedure. The issue of sterility and disinfection in a beauty salon today is extremely relevant, since every client wants to be sure of the cleanliness and safety of the chosen establishment.
At Fast Line Studio, we pay special attention to this matter. We have clear safety protocols developed by our team, which are strictly followed by all employees. Compliance with standards is monitored by state services, and we — ourselves every single day.
That is why compliance with rules for us is not a formality, but a daily practice:
- The premises are equipped with modern ventilation and proper lighting, so that both clients and masters feel comfortable.
- Frequent disinfection measures and five-level sterilization of instruments after every client guarantee absolute cleanliness.
- Employees regularly undergo medical examinations, which confirm their professional and safe approach.
- Daily hygiene standards include hand treatment with antiseptic, disinfection of surfaces, the use of disposable materials, and individual packaging of instruments.
- Only certified products are used, all of which have permits and certificates of conformity issued by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and the State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection. This applies to dyes, cosmetics, disinfectants, and all materials that come into contact with clients.
- Our internal protocols and procedures fully comply with the norms of state inspection bodies, and their regular updating guarantees compliance with current safety standards.
- Equipment is constantly checked and maintained in good working condition, and rules of electrical and fire safety are strictly observed.
- Every employee undergoes safety training.
We regularly update our procedures in accordance with legislation and the recommendations of professional authorities. For us, inspections by state services are not an obstacle, but a confirmation of high standards and responsibility.
In our manicure service, your safety is the most important. We use a two-level disinfection system that guarantees absolute cleanliness of instruments and work surfaces.
- Sterilization destroys mycobacteria, viruses, fungi, and even the most resistant spores.
- Medium- and low-level disinfection is effective for removing vegetative bacteria and small viruses on work surfaces.
Here is the full process of instrument sterilization at Fast Line Studio:
- After use, cutting instruments are first immersed in a special Surfanios solution for 30 minutes — this is the first step towards safety.
- Drill bits undergo ultrasonic cleaning in a Podosonic washer — this removes dust and microparticles.
- Then the instruments are rinsed under running water using a brush to remove residues of biological material.
- The next stage is drying with disposable towels so that the instruments are completely dry.
- After this, they are placed into kraft paper bags, ready for sterilization.
- In the dry-heat sterilizer, the bags are heated to 180°C for 60 minutes, and a special indicator on the package changes color, confirming that everything has been processed correctly.
- Afterwards, the instruments are stored in cabinets under ultraviolet light for up to 20 days. If the package is damaged or the storage period has expired, the instrument is sent for sterilization again.
Every work surface is disinfected after each client, and before the procedure, masters must wash their hands with soap, treat them with antiseptic, and put on gloves. Disposable materials are used only once.
Masters work in clean changeable clothing, with protected hair and face, and without jewelry, so that no microbes remain on the surfaces.
Your hair is also safe. Every haircut and styling is performed under strict protocols for instrument treatment.
Combs
- First, cleaned of hair with a brush, then immersed in Surfanios solution for 30 minutes.
- After rinsing and drying (sometimes with a hairdryer), they are packed into vacuum-sealed bags, which are opened only before the procedure.
Scissors
- After the haircut, the blades are rinsed, disinfected for 5 minutes, and rinsed again.
- They are dried, lubricated with Wahl oil, packed in vacuum-sealed bags, and opened only during work.
- If necessary, scissors are sent for sharpening.
Clippers and trimmers
- After use, they are cleaned with Blade Ice spray, and the blades are lubricated with Wahl oil.
- Attachments are rinsed, disinfected for 10 minutes, rinsed again, dried, and packed into vacuum-sealed bags.
- They are used only after opening the package in front of the client.
- If necessary, clippers undergo sharpening.
Thanks to our protocols, you can be confident: during a haircut, styling, or manicure, you are in a completely safe environment, and all instruments are sterile and ready for use.
